To the Editor:
Membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars is more important than at any time since the founding of the organization.
Politicians (including members of Congress who are themselves veterans) want to cut active duty military and veterans' benefits. It is imperative that all eligible veterans join the VFW and add their support to our legislative agenda.
The VFW members understand that there are individuals who want to hear what a veteran has to say. We are people who can assist with many issues.
