To the editor:

The New Glarus High School Mock Trial team extends a thank you to the Green County legal community as follows: First to the Green County Bar Association for its continued and generous financial support of our team. Second, to Judge Vale and Judge Jorgenson of Lafayette County, and Attorney Daniel Bestul for donating their time on a Sunday afternoon in January so we could have practice rounds with other local teams, and also to Judge Beer and Commissioner Burns for allowing us to use their courtroom.

The mock trial experience has been a valuable educational experience, and we are proud to complete our 14th year of participation. The state mock trial program was started over 30 years ago, and Monroe's own Rodney Kittelsen was one of the founding members of the program.
