On behalf of the Monroe Woman's Club, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the many individuals and businesses that supported our annual Fall Social on Oct. 10.
The Woman's Club raises money at our Fall Social to support several Community Improvement Projects each year. The Community Improvement Projects that receive donations from the Club are far-reaching in their purpose, mission and populations that they serve.
Over 100 local businesses, community members and Woman's Club members donated to the auctions and drawings for this year's Fall Social, and over 240 women attended the event. It is because of this generous support that the Monroe Woman's Club is able to assist nearly 20 programs, projects or events each year, right here in our community.
Thank you, again, to all who helped make our 2012 Fall Social such a success.
