From Kevin and Justin Johnson,
2010 Co-Chairman Green County Model Railroaders Train Show
Monroe
On behalf of the Green County Model Railroaders, we would like to thank all those who attended, supported or displayed at our 2010 train show Sept. 25 and 26 at SLICE. We would like to start with The Monroe Times for their wonderful front page article about this year's train show and the small demo layout our group built to display model railroad construction techniques. Many local businesses, train show vendors and individuals donated door prizes for the show, including three train sets for kids. This list includes the Hobby Depot of Monroe, Sand House Crew, Tom's Lionel Train Repair, Toy Train Barn, John's Hobbies and Trains, Kalmbach Publishing, Fever River Railroad in Freeport, Justin Johnson, Paul Greiner, Pre-owned trains and Monroe Truck Equipment.
Special congratulations goes out to our lucky train set winners Matt Torkelson of Monroe, Cassie Riese of Monroe and Daniel Fjelsted of Lancaster.
Again, thank you for making our 32nd annual train show another success.
