Hello Green County, this is Sharlene Swedlund your 2022-2023 Green County Fairest of the Fair from Juda. This week is all about celebrating tradition and welcoming everyone to the 169th annual Green County Fair being held in Monroe, Wisconsin from July 20-24.
For some, the fair is a week to relax, have fun, and celebrate some old traditions. For others it’s a week to show off projects that they have worked so hard on all year round, and to represent their town through 4-H or FFA. The Green County Fair is a tradition that has happened for the past 169 years! A tradition that many love to attend and hold dearly within families that participate in the weeklong activities. The Stock Pavilion is another long-standing structure that is celebrating its 100th birthday this year! Another tradition that the Green County Fair is upholding would be the theme for the fair. This year’s theme is Barnyard Beach Party! So, grab your sunglasses and your beach hats and get ready for some fun at the Green County Fair!
