I attended the Green County Humane Society meeting Wednesday night (May 13) to address the board about the annual meeting. I am very pleased that they took measures to improve the voting procedures for further elections.

It is obvious that they were concerned that any mistakes will try to be prevented in the future. Overall I thought it was great to see so much support at the annual meeting for a very worthy cause and that we can all work together for the animals' well being.

I know that volunteers are the backbone of the shelter and hope many more people will join in to make the shelter an even better place for the animals to wait for their permanent homes.
