Whatever happened to newscasters who reported the news as it happened, not how they see it? Every year it seems the liberal media gets more and more liberal. It would be nice if they would dig into each candidate's past and give us more truthful information. Instead, they have been so intent on digging up anything bad they can find about Sarah Palin - who I think of as one of us, not the Washington elite - that they can't report any of Barack Obama's or Joe Biden's lapses.
There are so many questions that need to be answered about Obama's past. If we ask them, we will be labeled "racist." I don't care what color his skin is, I'd like to believe that his heart is red, white and blue, but I sincerely doubt it.
It seems strange that anyone could attend a church for years where the pastor preached hate for the U.S. if he didn't agree. I know I couldn't. How many people agree with Obama's ultra-liberal views? He is rated the most liberal member of the Senate. He voted for partial-birth abortion, opposed the Patriot Act, supports driver's licenses, Social Security and welfare for illegal immigrants. He wants guns banned and says he will downsize the military.
Then there is his lack of experience. He never has actually run a business or a state, or anything else that would prepare him for a job like president. In the Illinois Senate, he voted "present" too often instead of taking a stand on the issues. He had 143 days of experience in the U.S. Senate when he announced his candidacy. It takes more time than that to get to be a supervisor at McDonald's! He has lot of ideas, but no real experience to know if they work.
I admit, John McCain wouldn't have been my first choice, but Obama would have been my last. As far as I can see, Palin is a real asset to McCain, no matter how much the media tries to make her sound.
