The Monticello fair was awesome. My grandma and I had a great time. She saw mud volleyball and professional tug-of-war for the first time ever. The tilt-o-whirl was my favorite part of the fair. My favorite part of the parade was the Shriners. But my grandma and I hated the loud sirens! All kids and a lot of grown-ups hate those. They hurt our ears. Why do they have them? And why so many? And why so loud? Babies just scream and kids cover their ears.
