At Monroe Clinic, we couldn't be more proud of both the Cheesemaker girls and boys basketball teams and their accomplishments at the state tournaments. To support these teams, we purchased two separate television advertisements to run during each tournament on Channel 27. The community was justifiably confused when the television station made an error and ran the ad congratulating the boys during the girls tournament. We apologize for that confusion.

We were disappointed by this mistake and the fact that our female athletes and their families never had the opportunity to view the message of support we had planned for them during their state tournament. We were pleased, however, that this newspaper did run our ad of congratulations, and it was reported that the team also saw our message of congratulations on our digital sign.

Congratulations once again to the Lady Cheesemakers. Your talent and teamwork has inspired us all!
