Vance: Many positive message came from Gaither Music show
Letter To The Editor

To the Editor:

At the Gaither Community show July 4th were a number of singers who performed so well I found the entire show very uplifting. Station TBN  carried the show in the early evening. The patriotic songs sung by the Gaither Brothers carried a message that brought into my mind what America has always stood for and not the madness provided by Mr. Trump. Listening to the lyrics helped me to remember we did live in the “Land of the Free”. He was probably rejoicing he is taking that away. He always has been a robber of some kind. Just look at the fact that he cannot conduct business in New York any more.

That’s our president. What a guy! The famous historical Benjamin Franklin said “A country like America needs a strong moral leader.” Perhaps that will be the cause of the downfall of Mr. Trump. But because he is here we will be who we are and help the poor however we can. We will sing songs to remind us we are a people who will help carry someone else’s load. Please call me brother when you need help. And listen to songs that have words like, “Let there be peace on earth. Let me walk with my brother, because brothers all are we!”

So many positive messages flew out of many of those songs. Words like that will help to make you and your family strong. Also what helps is to pledge your allegiance to the grand old flag that flies over God’s nation symbolizing a banner of liberty. The new government might tell us to bury such thoughts but we will always remember. It is our minds they will never control. So let’s be grateful to God for giving true liberty to us. Kings in other countries found that out and so will king trump. Have a good night and watch for station TBN.
