To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Jenna Jacobson who is running to represent the newly redrawn 50th Assembly District. We are lucky to have such a qualified candidate who will represent all of Green County and a southern portion of Dane County. Hardly an outsider to the area, Mrs. Jacobson represented the old 43rd Assembly District, served on the Oregon Village Board and participated in committees focused on emergency response and housing affordability. As a City of Monroe Alder, I have bumped into Jenna at many local functions as she gets to know the new areas of the district. I appreciated her coming into a midsummer Common Council meeting to introduce herself to local leadership. Having served the Village of Oregon she understands the importance of bridging the gap between state and local leaders. These relationships open up conversations that improve the lives of each one of us here in Green County. I have found Mrs. Jacobson to be very approachable, a great listener and a champion for everything that is great about our region. Join me in voting for Jenna Jacobson on November 5th!
