To the Editor:
The founding fathers of this “Great” country held a convention in 1787 in which they wrote the constitution. They wanted a government “for the people and by the people.” They wanted a democracy, as described by webster as “a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held FREE elections. They knew “any government powerful enough to give its people everything they want, then that government is powerful enough to take everything you have.” We need to learn this!!
The left today, I’ll use right and left because some republicans are left also, is drunk on power. When they want to stay in power well into their 80’s and 90’s, they aren’t still there because they are doing a good job, it’s because “they have power.” If one looks, one can clearly see that Mitch McConnell, Maxine Waters, Biden and others aren’t playing with a full deck. They should retire and enjoy their wealth gotten from the taxpayers. People hate Trump. Why? Because he wanted to ‘drain the swamp.” During President Trump’s term, there were no wars, he cut taxes, wages went up, companies brought manufacturing back to this country, we were much safer because the border was restricting terrorists and illegals, inflation was low, and peace deals were signed in the middle east. The left is correct, “no one is above the law,” and that includes the Bidens, Clintons, the FBI and the DOJ.
The USA is turning into a “totalitarian” form of government where the person or persons controlling the president, is the supreme leader. Someone surely must be controlling Biden because he doesn’t even know where he is most of the time. He or they control the president, news media and the education of our children. Hitler did this by brain washing the children that his control was the only way. We thought we would never forget and here we are letting it happen in the great USA.
Mark Twain said, “it is easier to fool someone than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.” Remember, elections have consequences. Vote for candidates who use common sense and integrity, whether voting for the left or the right. I watched an interview with Robert Kennedy JR and if he was on the ballot, I sure would consider voting for him.
