Novak: Who is the hero?
Letter To The Editor

By Richard Novak

To the Editor:

Let’s be honest. The real heroes are the men and women that rushed in to the burning towers on Sept. 11, 2001. They are your neighbors on the local fire departments and the law enforcement officers that run towards the sound of gunfire to protect you. They are also the men and women of the armed forces that volunteered to serve and came home disabled or with psychological issues. Even worse are the ones that came home in a flagged draped coffin. These are heroes to be proud of.

Talking heads in the main stream media are already calling Joe Biden a hero and comparing him to George Washington and Cincinnatus. This is an insult to both of these men.

Joe Biden is none of the above. He is an out of touch career politician that was protected by a compliant main stream media in the 2020 campaign and during his 3 1/2 years as president. Once his diminished health issues could no longer be hidden even the liberal media turned on him. He has not, as being suggested now, withdrawing for the good of the country. His first statement said he is withdrawing for the good of his party and the country. Notice he put his party first. He was chosen in a primary system that was fixed by the DNC so only he could win with the intention of dragging him across the finish line to remove at a more opportune time. Now he is being forced out by that same party when they realized that he would drag the rest of them down with him. Now the elites of the democratic party will anoint their chosen one despite over 14 million voters selecting him in the primary. Remember this is the party that claims to want to protect Democracy. Now everyone can see the truth, the only things they want to protect are their own seats and power.
