New Glarus
To the Editor:
I am writing to express my deep appreciation for Mark Pernitz and his unwavering commitment to the Town of New Glarus. With extensive experience as a former attorney and a dedicated member of the McFarlane School Board, Mark has consistently demonstrated his passion for public service and effective governance.
Throughout his tenure, Mark has played a pivotal role on various boards and commissions, including the Parks Commission and the Plan Commission, culminating in his recent service on the New Glarus Town Board. His expertise has been instrumental in shaping our long-term planning for capital improvements, ensuring that our community evolves in a thoughtful and sustainable manner.
One of Mark’s key contributions has been his focus on transparency in meetings, a critical aspect of fostering community engagement and trust. By advocating for open communication, he has paved the way for residents to stay informed and involved in local decision-making. Additionally, Mark’s efforts in securing grants for park trails have been remarkable. Thanks to his diligence, our town now boasts a thriving trail system that enhances the natural beauty of our community.
Mark Pernitz exemplifies the leadership we need. His dedication and vision have made a lasting impact, and I encourage residents to support his continued efforts. I urge you to vote for Mark on April 7th at the Spring election, held at W6185 Hwy 39, west of New Glarus (the site of the new County Hwy Shop).
