I would like to publicly thank the Monroe Library staff. They help us in so many ways, and do it daily with no fanfare. As I think of the many ways they help people with just checking out books, they are doing so many other things. They host the Literacy Council where people can brush up on their English language skills. They provide curbside service five days a week for patrons to pick up books and other materials as well as printing and copying delivered to your vehicle. This is where they help me so very much — even picking out books for me to read. I do miss seeing the very talented people who check out the books inside, it does help keep me safe from anything communicable.

Also, the staff are offering video programming for all ages through Facebook. Another service available, and so appreciated by homebound patrons.

Thank you so much Monroe Public Library! Your help is irreplaceable, and very much needed.
