To the editor:

Congress needs to vote on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) Trade Agreement.

This trade agreement would greatly increase exported products to Canada and Mexico. Many of these products would be dairy products produced by our Wisconsin farmers.

If these products could be sold and exported, we would see an increase in dairy commodity prices. An increase in milk prices would definitely help our struggling dairy industry.

The United States, Canada, and Mexico have all agreed to the USMCA Trade Agreement. President Donald Trump was instrumental in creating and negotiating this trade agreement. Now we are just waiting for the U.S. Congress to act.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) needs to call for a vote on the USMCA to get it passed to help the U.S. dairy producer.

Contact Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Mark Pocan (D) and urge them to act on the USMCA.
