Henderson: We’ve had enough
Letter To The Editor

From Roald Henderson

Albany

To the Editor:

We will not be silent! The death of Renee Good in Minneapolis, the lawlessness of immigration enforcement, the loss of healthcare subsidies, the impact of tariffs on agricultural costs and revenue, the lack of affordable childcare, and the inequities in the US tax system are just some of the issues that need to be addressed. There was a vigil in Monroe last week, a protest demonstration in New Glarus last Saturday, a protest demonstration in Mt. Horeb this coming Wednesday and a protest demonstration in Albany this coming Saturday. These issues matter to our local communities and we deserve to have our voices heard.

We focus on issues rather than personalities and political affiliations. Our voices and those of millions of Americans impact election outcomes when people vote.

Join us in peaceful, non-violent protests and make your voices heard on 1/17 — in Albany from 11 a.m. until noon on Highway 59 on the bridge over the Sugar River.
