To the Editor:

 I would like to thank Kathy Hennessy and the Monroe Arts Center for the wonderful free outdoor concert series they provided this summer. It was delightful to sit on the lawn, listen to talented musicians from Madison, Chicago, and New York, and watch the chimney swallows swirl around over the roof. The musicians were wisely selected, multi-talented, and exciting. And finally, I would like to thank Pancho and Lefty’s for providing box dinners last Wednesday night.  It was such a treat!
