To the Editor:

I was shocked this week to receive a letter from Accurate Appraisal, LLC that my Total Assessment change from 2022 to 2023 increased $90,500.00. Value 2022 $124,000.00 to 2023 $214,500.00. I thought it was already high in 2022. I bought this property in 1977 for $40,000. The only changes to my 1930’s house and barn have been to re-roof and re-paint as needed. Their reason for the $90,500.00 increase is Market Adjustment.

I am appealing this increase to Brandon Rusch at 920-749-8090 and I urge others to protest if they also received unreasonable raises.
