Fernstaedt: Skelton for county board
Letter To The Editor

From Kari Fernstaedt

Monroe

To the Editor:

As a business owner in the community for over 30 years and a resident of the Town of Monroe for more than 27 years, I would like to share my thoughts on what I feel is important in Green County leadership. It is no secret that I stand for Christian values. I have the opportunity to fill the pulpit at several churches in the area. By studying God’s word to prepare the messages, there are clear instructions in the Bible for how we should live our lives. Many wonder how the Bible has anything to do with government. Believe it or not, our country was founded on Christian principles.  So, as decisions are made at a national, state, and local level, we would do well to follow the principles God gave us in His word.

As a resident of the Town of Monroe, I support Jane Skelton for the Green County Board of Supervisors for District 15 in the April election. Not only has Jane been a business owner for decades, her experience as a Certified Public Accountant will add a much needed perspective on the financial aspect of Green County. Jane’s dedication to her Christian faith will also ensure that decisions made at the county level will have a Biblical perspective. Please vote for Jane Skelton for Board of Supervisors for District 15.
