My wife Deb and I attended the Badger State pull Friday evening at the Green County fair, thank you to the fair board for moving the pull to Friday night, it certainly makes attending easier when work isn’t beckoning early the next morning, and on a bigger note I believe, I wanted to give a big shout out to the Badger State pullers for doing the 50/50 raffle to benefit the Mike Meier Family and to all the folks who participated in the raffle, which raised a bit over $3300.00 in a few short hours, and last but certainly not least, a very very big shout out to the winner of the raffle, McGuire Farms, for donating the winnings back to Mike and his family, such a wonderful selfless act, touched my heart, there still is some good in this world, and its right here in Monroe.
