I am deeply honored and humbled to have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement in Economic Development by the Green Count Development Corporation at their Annual Dinner and Awards night held at Turner Hall on March 19.

Receiving the recognition from such a vital organization is the highlight of my life in public service. My commitment has always been to the continued growth and prosperity of the City of Monroe and Green County. This award is not just a personal milestone, it is a testament to the power of collaboration and shared vision of our community partners, business leaders, and dedicated volunteers.

My sincere gratitude to the GCDC Board of Directors and Executive Director Olivia Otte for their tireless work in catalyzing economic growth and enhancing our quality of life. Also my fellow nominees and award recipients whose dedication makes Green County a thriving place to live, work, and grow.

I consider the citizens of Monroe and Green County my extended family. Your support fuels our mission to create a vibrant opportunity-filled future for all of us.

Thank you Green County Development for this incredible honor. Working together we will build an even stronger Green County.
