Letter To The Editor

From Kent and Barb Anderson

New Glarus

To the Editor:

Having known Faun Marie Phillipson her entire life, we enthusiastically endorse her candidacy for Green County Circuit Court Judge.

Faun was a classmate of our sons. We are friends and classmates of her parents. Both sets of her grandparents were respected members of the New Glarus community. We know her well.

Having graduated from the University of Wisconsin — Madison, she received her law degree from Yeshiva University, Cardozo School of Law in New York. She was admitted to the New York Bar and practiced in New York. Her law firm has offices in New York, New Jersey, and New Glarus.

Faun has practiced in State and Federal courts throughout the country. She has completed studies in Mediation Training and Mediation and Domestic Abuse through the University of Wisconsin. Her experience is solid and far reaching.

She has represented clients in the preparation of wills, deed transfers, resolving landlord-tenant disputes and employment discrimination cases. She has been involved in the Green County Family Law Clinic. Her depth of experience is unending.

In addition to her legal endeavors, Faun is steeped in her community, having volunteered widely in New Glarus. These efforts include coaching the Mock Trial teams from New Glarus, serving on the New Glarus Public Library Board and on the Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks board of directors.

Faun is an unbiased, highly motivated representative of New Glarus, Green County, and the State of Wisconsin.

Voting for Faun Marie Phillipson will add to the integrity and honor of the Green County Circuit Court.
