It is ridiculous that anyone would back such a fiasco as Donald Trump. After watching his curled lips and hearing his boisterous voice say a blatant lie that Muslims were cheering in New Jersey when the Twin Towers came down tells me he is capable of anything.
My son worked in Manhattan in three buildings away from the Twin Towers in 9/11. They were told to leave their building. He phoned his wife in New Jersey to tell her he was all right. Then he stood on the sidewalk to watch the buildings burn. Then when they imploded, he turned and ran to escape the dust cloud. But he could not outrun the huge thick dust cloud coming from the damaged Twin Towers. He put his handkerchief over his mouth so he could breathe. For a moment he could only see blackness.
He went to Central Park on the advice of a policeman. Once there, he knew he looked a sight. Ray Romano of the television show was there with his crew and came over to our son. When he told them what had happened they convinced him to come to their hotel and get cleaned up and he was able to call his wife in Jersey City, New Jersey again.
In all this time our son never heard cheering from across the river and his wife never saw or heard cheering from the New Jersey side of the river. No Muslims cheered this terrible tragedy. Donald Trump is a liar and he is an absolute renegade saying whatever pops into his head.
I think he will be the laughingstock in the world and on the other side of the coin he will be the most feared because we never know what he will do.
I had 26 people in my home for Christmas and at one table the subject came up "What would it take for Donald Trump to press the nuclear button?" These were intelligent people considering the unspeakable. They found Donald Trump completely untrustworthy.
He is dangerously impulsive and a liar. Are those qualities the Republicans want in their president?
