To the editor:

I do not understand why the people of the United States are not protesting the Electoral College. Hillary Clinton won the election for president by over 2 million votes, yet she is not our president.

The Electoral College consist of 538 people who decided they wanted Donald Trump for president so they voted him to office. Their votes mean more than yours.

When you vote for any other office, whoever gets the most votes win but not for president. It's who the 538 Electoral College people vote in. Some states are trying to eliminate the Electoral College.

Now Russ Feingold is starting a group to get it stopped. Let's everybody call senators and tell them to get rid of the Electoral College.

It started in 1700. It's time for it to stop. It's a different world now.
