Monroe Co-chairs of Green County EMS Capital Campaign
To the editor:
We'd like to give a huge thank-you to the individuals and businesses of our most generous and caring community for their support of the new Green County EMS building. Your pledges and donations have made it possible for the Green County EMS to realize its dream of building a facility that will meet current and future needs for emergency medical care in Monroe and southern Green County.
We give thanks as well to the GCEMS volunteers whose outstanding service to the community over the past 40 years has engendered the good will and gratitude of area residents, as demonstrated by the successful campaign to fund the new building. Every time we hear the ambulance siren, we can all be very thankful that we have this life-saving service available to us.
