With so many unsettling activities happening in our world today, I would like everyone reading this article to know there are many good people right here in Monroe. On Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, I was unaware, I dropped my debit card while returning to my car after shopping in Monroe. I had no idea my card was missing until I listened to a message left hours later from my card company. After searching my wallet, I realized my card was gone. I then returned to the store in which I shopped only to have the manager hand me my card. While thanking her, she told me she had nothing to do with finding my card. She told me a gentleman, whom she did not know, walked into the store and handed my card to her. Thanking you seems insufficient considering what the outcome could have been for losing my card. You are definitely my guardian angel.
