Thank you to the Monroe Times for the article and all the people who supported my bake sale and sent donations supporting my participation in the American Brain Tumor Association's BT5K Chicago Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run and Walk. It was especially touching having people share their brain tumor stories, knowing we're not alone.
Every day, 500 people are diagnosed with a brain tumor. They join the more than 700,000 who are currently living with the frustration, uncertainty and fear a brain tumor diagnosis brings. Donations help to fund the ABTA mission of advancing the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.
