To the editor:
At a time of year to give thanks, we would like to give a huge thank you to all of our followers and supporters for all that you did in 2014. Thank you to Main Street and all of the businesses who so graciously highlighted us, donated to us, or helped in any way to make others more aware of our organization. If you attended one of our events, made a donation, or shared a story with us of your journey after losing a loved one, thank you. Because of the amazing support to us and our events, we continue to bring programs to area schools and communities, supporting workshops for adults that touch on suicide awareness/prevention, bullying, making good life choices and mental health. As 2014 comes to a close, we look forward to continuing our mission and drive in 2015.
In 2015, we will be co-sponsoring some amazing events along with Tyler's Team Foundation. On Feb. 23-25, we are sponsoring Jeff Yalden, a nationally recognized motivational speaker to our communities. He will be presenting his program to eight area school districts and there will be a night community program on Feb. 25. Our two foundations will once again be holding our Angels Among Us 5K or 1-mile fun run/walk on April 25 to bring families and communities together and support each other.
