At a time of year that we give thanks, we would like to give a huge thank you to all of our followers and supporters for all of your support in 2015. We would not have been able to touch so many lives and continue Jacob's SWAG Foundation Inc. without your love and support. If you attended one of our events, made a donation, or shared a story with us of your journey after losing a loved one, thank you. Because of the amazing support to us and our events, we continue to bring programs to area schools and communities, supporting workshops for adults that touch on suicide awareness/prevention, making good life choices and mental health. As 2015 comes to a close, we look forward to continuing our mission and drive in 2016.
In 2016, we will be co-sponsoring some amazing events along with Tyler's TEAM Foundation. On Feb. 22 to 25, we will be sponsoring Kyle Scheele, a nationally recognized motivational speaker to our communities. He will be presenting his program to eight area school districts and there will be a night community program on Feb. 24. Our two foundations will once again be holding our Angels Among Us 5K or 1 mile fun run/walk on April 23. This event brings our communities together to remember our loved ones lost to suicide and to remember those who may still be struggling with mental health issues.
