From Family Promise of Green County Board of Directors
A big warm thank you to Art and Barb Bartsch who own the Super 8 Motel in Monroe. Art and Barb graciously offered their facility over the Christmas week for the homeless families currently being served by Family Promise of Green County. They provided a free place for the guests to stay and provided gifts for all the children as well.
Families enrolled in Family Promise are normally hosted by the area churches who provide a place for them to sleep and meals. This act of kindness by Art and Barb alleviated that responsibility so that the host church volunteers could be with their families during that time.
Art and Barb have been valued supporters of Family Promise through their donation of time, money and the use of their facility for board meetings, trainings and hosting these guests over the Christmas holiday. They have truly shown the Christmas spirit.
