To the editor:
I would like to thank former library board president, Anne Schultz, for her tireless support of the Monticello Public Library. Anne Schultz helped to start the Friends of the Monticello Public Library in 1998 where she served as treasurer and later a president of the group. In June of 2002 she became a member of the Library Board, and in January of 2003 became president of that board. Anne has served as president of that board for 15 years. During that time, she has volunteered during library programs, recruited her husband and sons to help with summer reading programs, and has continued to coordinate fundraisers for the Friends of the Library. Thank you, Anne, for two decades of dedicated service to the Monticello Public Library.
