On a recent Friday night, the Monroe Arts Center held an exhibition opening in the new addition and a thank-you reception for the contributors who supported building the new addition. Well over 100 people celebrated.
One family volunteered to help serve beverages and food: Katee, Stephen, Emily, and Lilly Eliasson. Several of our guests remarked on how wonderful it was to see an entire family helping out. They also remarked that it is an example of volunteerism at its best, and should serve as a model for other families.
We are grateful to the Eliasson family for their many forms of support.
