To the editor:
The Brodhead Lions Club sends a thank you to area deer hunters for their support during our deer hide collection to raise money for the Wisconsin Lions Camp for children. Because of hunter donations we were able to raise over $900 for the camp.
The Lions send a thank you to the Brodhead Veterinary Medical Center and staff for providing a site and assistance for the collection. We also send a thanks to the area newspapers for announcing the collection.
Throughout the state $80,000 to $100,000 are raised each year for the WI Lions Camp as a result of the deer hide donations. The camp is dedicated to providing a camp experience free of charge for persons with disabilities. Go to wlf.info for more information.
