Letter to the editor: Impeach Trump

To the editor:

The civilians in Syria are suffering greatly. The latest bombings have killed and severely injured mostly women and children.

It is time to rid the world of Assad. But we need a plan and a president who will be in the situation room while the planning is going on, because the president will have the last word. It shouldn't be around a dinner table in Florida with people who have no connection with our government.

Besides that, President Trump likes Putin the dictator in Russia and Putin favors Assad. How will that affect Trump's decision? Does he have the necessary character to choose the right decision after listening to the people who know more than he does? I don't think so because Trump is an egotist and believes that no one knows more than he does. I saw that when he campaigned and he would tell his adoring followers that "I and only I can get the job done."

I don't know if there is a set time for a president to be in power before he can be impeached. If there isn't, do it now. My guess is that many people are thinking the same thing. The polls show that only 34 percent of voters favor Trump. That is the lowest ranking of the last several presidents during that "honeymoon" presidents are given to get familiar with the White House and the many agencies run by the government. Trump is not going to change. He is not going to change because he thinks he is perfect. Yes, he is a real egotist and an egotist is the worst flaw a president can have.

I'm calling for impeachment because he knows how to build buildings but he has no idea how to be the president of the United States of America and that is like putting a bomb in the arms of a 2-year-old.
