Local elections are really the most important ones. The results usually have a direct impact on the constituents.
The third-ward voters have a chance to keep Mike Boyce working as alderperson. Mike has used his educational background and work experience to deal with long-term financial matters and short-term budget issues; the results being taxpayers getting the most "bang for their buck."
As a married father with children, Mike is extremely concerned about Monroe's educational system.
A most important quality of any elected official is approachability. Mike is always available to discuss all sides of various problems from dog-leash rules to amortization of municipal debt.
Because the job takes a great deal of time and effort for little reward, the people in third ward are fortunate that Mike Boyce is willing to step up to plate and do the work. A vote for Boyce is a wise choice.
