Monroe
To the editor:
It is with proud enthusiasm that I support Amy Bazley in her bid for the Monroe school board. I most admire Amy for her selfless work during her tenure, serving on and chairing various committees for this board.
As a former school board member, I served with Amy where I acquired respect and admiration for her intelligence, ability to reason through complex issues, and a strong dedication to the families of this district. Amy encourages improvement pieces such as the elementary level readers and writers workshops, and steps up to the challenges of the on-going work to improve student achievement throughout the district. She has maintained a consistent commitment to excellence when it comes to our student's education.
Amy exemplifies honesty and thoughtfulness in her work with the Monroe school district, and she uses those qualities to create a harmony between academics and extracurricular activities. As a woman well respected in her community, you will find experience, fairness and balance continuing for the Monroe school board as you cast your ballot and vote for Amy Bazley on April 7.
