To the editor:
The Tuesday, Oct. 4 letter to the editor was just another in a long line of hate-filled, mean-spirited rhetoric that seems to be the order of the day both on TV and in the newspapers when it comes to Donald Trump. The author of this letter expressed her/his opinion about whether or not Donald is or is not qualified to be our next president and she/he has that right though her/his bullying technique directed at people with differing viewpoints is offensive to me. Hillary has enough baggage in her political career to prove to me she does not have the insight or common sense to be the next president but as with the author mentioned previously, this is just my opinion.
Why then you might ask am I writing this in the first place and that is a fair question. I'm writing this letter to the editor because of the last statement the author made in her/his Oct. 4 letter to the editor and I quote "What in God's name will it take"?
Since she/he brought God into the conversation, I felt the need to state that my God will never direct my spirit to cast a vote for a candidate and political party whose platform and beliefs have resulted in the killing of over 55 million babies since 1973. Hillary has not only been a strong supporter of these barbaric acts but is campaigning that if elected she will elect Supreme Court Justices and take executive actions that will support the use of taxpayer dollars to fund these crimes against humanity.
"What will it take?" the Oct. 4 author asked. In my case the only moral option I have as a Christian and a veteran is to cast my vote for Donald Trump because to vote Democrat is to vote for abortion.
