To the editor:

I’m writing this note in sincere desire to see the new four-way stop at the corner of County Road C and County Trunk N be a permanent fixture. It is so reassuring to use that junction and not feel at risk when entering the intersection. 

We have been residents of Dividing Ridge Road for more than 40 years and have seen many accidents and near accidents at that site. These stop signs definitely add to the safety at that crossing.

We hope the four-way stop will continue there to save lives. Our neighbors have the exact same feelings.
