The Green County Humane Society board of directors agrees with the Times' viewpoint ('Changes made, it's time for progress for GCHS", Monroe Times, Jan. 30, 2008) that communication with the public is critical. We also recognize that our organization's Web site is sadly out-of-date, cumbersome to use and in need of revamping.
To that end, we decided several months ago that it would be best to seek outside help to redesign a new site that will be easier for staff and board members to keep current, as well as easier and more appealing for members to use. This project has been identified as a top priority for 2008. Having limited resources, both financial and personnel, we are currently seeking individuals who may be able to help us redesign our Web site. We also are looking to change our Web hosting service. Individuals who may be able to help with this project are encouraged to contact Mary Jane Grenzow, GCHS public relations, at grenzow@tds.net
