I have such news for you.

Hi, everyone. Won't you please come and help celebrate my 81st birthday? On stage, of course - in Monroe Theatre Guild's production of "Fiddler on the Roof." This is a wonderful experience for me and I would love to share it with you.

It's a beautiful play, full of history, life and music that will tug at your heart strings and, at other times, will make you laugh. This musical production is loaded with dedicated, talented community people who have been practicing since the beginning of May to give you top-notch quality entertainment. Enjoy an evening of your choice, or perhaps a Sunday matinee, at the Monroe High School Performing Arts Center, which is air-conditioned for your comfort.

Tickets are available at Monroe Arts Center. Performance dates are Aug. 1-3 and Aug. 7-10. Won't you come to help me blow out the candles? I keep in mind it will take a full house to do that! See you there.
