I've been in politics most of my adult life and have had the opportunity to serve as a press secretary for three fine public servants: Vice President Al Gore, U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin, and U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold - which brought me to Wisconsin and eventually to my small farm in Green County.
I've also had the opportunity to get to know Green County judge candidate, Dan Gartzke, and I would say he reminds me most of Russ Feingold. Gartzke has the same integrity, wisdom and grit as Feingold. If he is elected judge, like Feingold, he won't put his finger up in the air to see which way the popular winds are blowing before he makes a decision - he'll do what he thinks the law says and what's best for Green County.
