Esther Tamling-Seffrood: Huckabee the only choice for Christian voters

It's time to choose the candidates for the primary election. It is not only your right to vote, but it is your duty as a citizen of this great nation. Measure carefully the individual who you will be voting for. If you don't know what he or she stands for, it is your duty to find out.

What are the things you value? If you believe in our nation's Constitution, then you believe that all people have the right to life. So, you value life, right? If you believe in the right to choose, then you believe a woman has the right to kill her unborn baby.

However, according to our Constitution, each person has the unalienable right to life. Our country's laws were not created so they can be rewritten. There are those who have set out to take away people's rights and in fact already have done so. The number of abortions which have taken place in our nation proves that.

So, you should take this election very seriously. Find out whose values line up with yours and stand up for what you believe is right. If you value life, liberty, justice and the Christian heritage and freedoms this country was built on, then make sure you are at the polling station come Tuesday. If you are a conservative Christian with a heart for God, you will want to take a good look at Mike Huckabee, pray about it and vote accordingly.

If you believe people should have the right to kill their unborn baby and homosexuals deserve the right to marriage, adoption of children, and the same rights as a married man and woman, then you can vote for almost any of the other candidates. Whatever you do, get out and vote, vote your values and vote your conscience.
