It is no wonder that the prevailing attitude of the general electorate is "throw-the-bums-out." After all, with eight years of horrendous leadership worldwide and nationally from the current occupant of the White House, it is expected.

But, in the political arena where we live and work, we are fortunate to have a young, energetic man of high integrity representing us in the State Assembly. His name is Brett Davis.

Brett has gained some valuable seniority clout and name recognition in state government. These are very important factors in getting things done. In matters that affect us all, Brett Davis is knowledgeable of the problems of small business, agri-business, health care and especially education. With fresh and independent ideas, along with good judgment as to when and how to compromise, Brett knows how to attack tough issues.

His compassion for the welfare of his constituents is evidenced by his hard work, friendly personality, and above all, approachability. These qualities are huge when you have a care or concern in your life.

So cast a few votes for change. I know I plan to. But, let us be careful not to "throw the baby out with the bath water." Vote to keep Brett Davis in our corner.
