David Rygh: Time for Monroe to leave the Dark Ages

This is in response to Jan Lefevre's comments about not having the celebration for Cinco de Mayo.

While we all agree illegal immigration is basically out of control, it is American companies that provide these people with jobs, at very low wages. This problem cannot be solved easily, it will take years to solve it, and I seriously doubt she is the person to handle the problem.

I am sure there are many people in this town who want to see this celebration happen. The one in Darlington is a very festive event, and Monroe could learn a lot from it. It is time Monroe entered the 21st century and left the Dark Ages behind.
