Given the large number of people leaving their dog waste in public space, I ask that the Green County Board consider passing a waste ordinance which would require all dog owners to pick up any dog waste left by their animal in any public space. I ask that this item be placed on the agenda for the September meeting. Furthermore, I ask that the penalty be substantially greater for anyone caught leaving waste on any private land other than their own, or properties they have specific permission to use for this purpose.
