The 2008 Orangeville Junior parent post prom committee would like to thank the many Orangeville, Freeport, Monroe, Lena, Dakota, Davis, McConnell, Cedarville, Winslow, Pearl City and Stockton businesses, parents and individuals who helped make this year's post prom a fun, safe and successful evening.
The prom was held April 19 at the Masonic Temple in Freeport, with the post prom following immediately back at our high school in Orangeville in the Terry Miller Memorial Gymnasium. Activities for the evening included hypnotist Lee Darrow of Chicago, Kid Again Feud Game Show, volleyball, basketball, casino games, euchre, Dance-Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero PS2 games, and refreshments the entire evening. There was a wide variety of prizes that were donated for the auction that concluded the night.
We would like to thank all the area businesses, organizations, and individuals for their generous donations. Thanks to the 90 students who attended post prom. We hope you had a memorable and fun-filled night and morning. An event this size would not be possible without the generosity of all of you.
Thank you to the multiple volunteers who made this event a special and fun night for our students. Our students and children are all very special and important to all of us. It is truly a privilege to be able to offer an evening like this for them to all be together and enjoy.
Again, a sincere thank you to all of our donators and individuals who volunteered their time.
