Recently, part of the ceiling of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington collapsed. Someone asked me, are you distressed? I thought about it and I said no, and this is why. The parishioners of Holy Rosary, their quick response, the large number of people who responded, their understanding of the inconveniences, their love for God and his

Church, helped me to keep my heart and mind focused on God. The other factor that helped was the Darlington community and beyond. Many churches and many people expressed their concern and offered to help Holy Rosary.

Holy Rosary is now figuring out how to go about our repairs. The collapse of our Church ceiling did not weaken our faith, it increased it. Thank you to everyone for your help, your concern, and your prayers.
