I am writing to present my support for Timothy J. Burns for Circuit Court Judge, Branch 2, in the upcoming Green County election on Feb. 17.

Reared upon a beef farm in Dodge County, Timothy is a 1980 graduate of UW-River Falls. Timothy has been united to his wonderful wife, Kelly, for 31 years and has three delightful children: Brendan, Colin and Morgan. Involved in the community, Timothy is the founder and teacher of the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department's Karate program, supporter of Monroe High School athletics and has been a buyer at the Green County Junior Livestock Auction.

Timothy is a man of great integrity and is respected deeply by a multitude of professionals in our community. The integrity I speak of comes from the illustrations Timothy has set as a private lawyer of more than 22 years in working diligently for the rights of the disabled, the elderly, and those who are less fortunate. Timothy Burns has an innovative and proactive approach to making improvements for Green County residents. He has created forms and procedures that have been implemented to help people without lawyers get their cases into court easily, thus speeding resolution of cases. This character of proactive resolve is important to have continued in our court system.

Along with integrity, fairness and experience, Timothy brings with him a strong commitment to Green County. A commitment that has been evident in his fulfillment to Green County residents for the past 12 years, making the tough decisions on child custody and placement, child abuse, domestic abuse injunctions and payments of debts as your circuit court commissioner.
