A huge blossom to everyone that made Monroe Garden Club's spaghetti supper another success. Thanks to our host, Pizza Hut, the Moose Lodge and their kitchen helpers; and all the extra helpers that took time off from their busy schedules to help us. Also thanks to Culligan Water Service and McDonald's for donations and Ruf Confectionery for selling tickets. Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets, cookbooks and gave donations. All of you have helped to give back to our community. - Monroe Garden Club

A huge blossom to the many people that donated items for the Green County Humane Society garage and bake sale. The sale was a huge success, due to your generosity. Another huge blossom to those special people that worked at the sale: Cheryl and Bob Beck, Millie and Doug McCabe, Vickie Holland, Dan and Jim Bartholf, and Dennis Dreikosen. A very special blossom to Sherrie Fiduccia and Monroe Auto for once again letting us hold the sale at her business. The GCHS raised almost $2,000, all of which goes to the animals. The next garage and bake sale will be held in May of 2011. Thank to you all. - Geri Bartholf and Kathy Dreikosen

A huge blossom to Mayor Ross. Shame on you for hindering change we so desperately need in our community and most definitely on our council. Ordinances should be followed by everyone! - Dying for change

A big huge blossom to all the Monroe bands who took part in Cheese Days. Thank you MHS students and director for all your early hours of practice so we could have a marching band this year in the Cheese Day parade, it was so nice to see so many involved.
